Welcome To Brooks County Independent School District! We are going to have an exciting year. We hope you are going to see many positive changes throughout the district this year. You may have already seen the new paint that we are using. The school color is Kelly Green and we are going to try and give everyone an opportunity to see as much of it as possible.
We thank you for entrusting your children to us and we will do our best to give them the best education possible. Their safety while they are in our charge is of utmost importance to us. Rest assured that your children are in good hands!
I ask all parents to please partner with your child’s teachers. Help them help your child and support their classroom decisions. Communicate often, especially anytime you feel your child is having any trouble. Help them address your child’s needs. We want all of them to succeed and they can with your help!
I believe in excellence in everything. I also believe if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing it right the first time. I do not want our children to just participate in class or in the extra-curricular activities they pursue, I want them to have great success!
I have an open door policy and after we get everything for the beginning of the year smoothed out I will be in my office most mornings if you wish to come by and visit. Again, thank you for sharing your children with us!
